2004 Bowling Team
"Retro 4 Rover" was the For The Luv of Dogz costume theme while bowling for the fund raiser benefiting the Pets 911 and their affiliates. Now aren't we a great looking bunch?
Sweet Gracie came to the Hocevar family in August, 2004. She is a rescue kitty from a rescue group. Her name fits her to a "T". She is SO sweet!
2005 Phoenix Dalmation Station bowling team. Winners in more ways than one! Our team won 1st place for most original costumes, and our bowling pin took in the largest silent auction bid, at $200.00! Thanks to everyone who helped make this a success!
Only 18 months old in this picture, Sweet Gracie has grown a lot! (15 pounds to be exact!)
Save a life! Adopt a Rescue Dog or Cat!

Bowl A Rama is a Fund Raiser that most Rescue organizations in the Phoenix area participate in to help with the cost of saving dogs and cats from Animal Care and Control (ACC), where, without these organizations the animals would be euthanized. In defense of ACC these animals end up at their facility because they are lost, turned in because the owner doesn't want them any more and many other reasons. Of course the biggest reason is over population because owners do not have their pets spay and neutered. Most are healthy animals that would make a wonderful pet to a lucky owner. The Rescue groups take adoptable pets from ACC and place them in foster homes and boarding facilities where they get the veterinary treatment and social skills they need to be an adoptable pet. All of this costs money. Most groups only charge a small fee to adopt the pet. That fee seldom covers the costs of care for that pet before it is adopted.
Arizona Pet Resort also participates in the Phoenix Dalmatian Station's Art Auction and Wine Tasting.
You may choose to donate money, time, or both to any of the organizations listed on this page with the knowledge that they are 501C organizations dedicated to a better life, a second chance for their rescued friends.

During Hurricane Katrina, 2005, Arizona Pet Resort and Rescue A Golden (Rags) partnered to bring homeless Goldens from the Gulf to be cared for by our Veterinarian and they boarded with us too. Lucky for the dogs and their owners, two were returned to the owners through the Internet.
A second community project that Arizona Pet Resort helped RAGS accomplish was boarding, and giving veterinary care to a group of dogs who had been removed from a breeder's home in Benson. The dogs were in terrible condition. One female had puppies come to us with her, and the puppies and mother were undernourished and had many medical complications.
